Fall Wedding Ideas - Thoughts, Hints and Ideas For the Perfect Autumn Wedding

By Stephen Badiali

There is a lot of debate about what season is the best for a wedding. Some think Spring is the best because flowers are starting to bloom and the weather is getting warmer. Others think Winter is the best because snow provides the perfect backdrop for a wedding.
Fall, however, is the season that has become the most popular for weddings, and there are many reasons to search for Fall wedding ideas.
Since Fall has become so popular you will need to start your planning well in advance. At least a year in advance book your reception location and start booking your other vendors like photographer, DJ and florist. If you wait too long you risk not getting your first choices.
Fall weddings offer a unique twist to your wedding. Summer has ended, and long hot days have turned into cool brisk evenings that are perfect for weddings. As the leaves start to change colors, they create a breathtaking backdrop for your wedding photos.
A popular choice for Fall wedding ideas is an outdoor wedding event. Exchanging your vows in a garden with a reception under a tent allows you to enjoy the season and all that it brings with it.
Even if you don't get married outside you can plan to have photos taken outside. Talk with you photographer and research parks and other places to take photos outside.
Possible locations for a Fall wedding include Inns or Bed and Breakfasts, vineyards, barns and private estates. You may want to try to plan the wedding for when you think Fall foliage will be at its peak for your area.
Choose a location that allows you to take advantage of the season and Fall foliage. Again, these locations tend to fill up fast, so put booking your location at the top of your to do list.
